Page Sketch from Sketch Savvy
Have you seen this stack before? No? Well it's a total sneak peek for you! It is called the "Edumacation Stack" and is the cutest school stack that you have ever seen! I am obsessed with it! I got my hands on 3 stacks and I know I will whip thru them with teacher cards, school layouts and school projects! It will be out at Michael's next month!
This stacks features my pictures perfectly of my little guy's last day of preschool & program :) I think this stack will fly off M's shelves!
And now for the Card Challenge!
Card Sketch from Got Sketch?
I used the Timeless Type Stack which is at Michaels right now. I think it was the perfect stack to make my Father's Day card with. I am always waiting til the last second to make my cards so this year it's done :) Another great thing about challenges right??!
So are you ready to play with us!? I can't wait to see what you come up with next. I love both of these sketches and think they will be really fun to work with.
Before I go...we can't forget our 2 winners from last week's blog comments! Email me your addresses and I will get your 3 new stacks right out to you! erinmadsen@diecutsinc.com
Here is my take on this sketch, I feel I am getting better at doing sketches...
I used DCWV Animal crackers pad and Animal Crackers matching
chipboard set and popped them on foam tape, even inked some of them with
distress ink. I also glammed it up with some i-rocks. I used cricut nursery
tales for my title. I also added a few highlights with my sankura pen.

SOUS challenge time...
May 24, 2012 Sketch Challenge
Hello paper crafters! Are you all excited it's Friday or what!
We know that this time of year is really busy for many of us, with end of the school
year parties, graduations, baby showers and weddings! We know
it takes time to come by and to participate in challenges
and we thank you for your time!
We hope this will bring you the inspiration we all need this time of year!
I've always found this split design interesting in scrapbook pages
and so designed this sketch layout to try it out. We hope that this
unique and fresh design will inspire you to pull out that beloved photo
and get it scrapped!
For this LO I used stack 8 of DCWV along with some solid cardstock. I used my cricut for the Disney cuts and the spliced circle. (mickey and friends and Elegant edges)
I also used a white sankura pen for details and highlights. I ink some edges with Tim Holtz distress ink.
I hope you all like my finished design, I normally find sketch challenges a real challenge and hate my end product, I really clicked with this one and it was fin to create.
Go try you hand at a challenge and have a Scraptacular Day!

A Minnie mouse card.
I made this card as a request and I hope the recipient likes it. :-) I made this card a pedestal card so she can display it. I used the mickey and friends for the Minnie cut, I used my dollar stamps and my irock to bling it up.
I also embossed the base with a cuttlebug argyle folder. My colors were pink and Tiffany blue and white.
Here is my Minnie mouse birthday card.

Little Princess
This LO is linked for the SOUS sketch challenge. Go check it out it runs the whole month of march. Have fun with it and challenge yourself.
I found some baby Picture of Alijah I had to paper scrap. I used a lot of carts for this Layout. Ashlyn's alphabet,
ribbons and rosettes, once upon a princess, A child's year, storybook and cursive 101. I think that cover them all. WHOO! I used some old embellishments I had in my Stash. The worked perfect for little add ins. Gave it just a little sweet touch. In used purple stickles from Halloween set, I used some Halloween gem stones for my crown. I used i rock bling for my boarders. The paper in from the my minds eye girl stack. I used Tim Holtz distress ink on EVERYTHING. (broken china, faded jeans, vintage photo, worn lipstick) I used my sankura white gel pen on basically everything. LOL! I made my scepter, using ribbons and rosettes and a loli pop stick wrapped in paper. I also used pink taffy glimmer misst on some cuts.
I hope you like this page as much a I enjoyed creating it. :-)

Taking a break and getting things in order.
I may be absent for a short time. There are some things in "real" life that I must deal with. Hopefully my faith in God can see me through this difficult time. I love the art of crafting and I hope that my absence will not be long but I need to handle some personal things right now.
